Phoenix Art Museum

The Phoenix Art Museum presents an all-star cast of artists for your enjoyment. From the classically inspired exterior of the Museum to its magical inner spaces you are in for a treat. This highly acclaimed museum features collections from European to Contemporary to Western American art as well as fashion design and miniature historical interiors.

Children are welcomed at the Phoenix Art Museum with their own gallery called ArtWorks and invited to "please touch". As you stroll through the Western Art Collection thrill to the rousing works of Remington and Russell, then move on to the daring art of Picasso and O’keeffe in the 20th Century Collection. Watch for the exciting special exhibits that feature works from such well-known venues as the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. and the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

The Museum Store offers an amazing array of beautiful objects including the famous Soleri Bells as well as books, jewelry, unusual mobiles, posters and t-shirts. For casual dining visit the Art Museum Café and enjoy the sandwiches, salads and tempting desserts.

Directions: Phoenix Art Museum is located on the northeast corner of McDowell Road and Central Avenue. Parking is free in the lot on Coronado Road east of Central Avenue. For a map and directions from different areas see http://www.phxart.org/index_help.html.
